In the book of Mark (in Bible) the witnesses are amazed that Jesus had the power over the waves in the nature. In fact, all in the boat had a hard time with Jesus because they had lack of faith and understanding.
Mark 4:39-41
39 Jesus got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. 40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” 41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”
Jesus also was a Tsunami Wave the spiritual meaning. Look at this example that His presence alone, no word, just presence, makes a demon possessed man to run and kneel in front of Jesus begging for forgiveness and salvation.
Mark 5:6-9
6 When the man saw Jesus in the distance, he ran up to him and knelt down. 7 He shouted, “Jesus, Son of God in heaven, what do you want with me? Promise me in God’s name that you won’t torture me!” 8 The man said this because Jesus had already told the evil spirit to come out of him. 9 Jesus asked, “What is your name?” The man answered, “My name is Lots, because I have ‘lots’ of evil spirits.” 10 He then begged Jesus not to send them away.
Jesus came to change the world, safe people from fear and guilt.
“How is it helping me in life?” you may ask.
God gave us life to come and help to change the world. Me and You created to make those waves by speaking the truth and take care of people around. Your words may change the attitude of your boss who may not take care of himself and you, when you tell them “I need to stay healthy. I need to leave 1 hour early to get adjusted or ½ day off for my Mid-Term or Annual report with my health care provider, chiropractor.”
They may give you a hard time, but deep inside, they are jealous of you fighting for your life. They respect your choice and they even want to be like you, but they are PARALYZED by FEAR to do what you do for yourself. YOU fighting for yourself may ACCIDENTALLY SAFE THEIR LIFE! You SET THEM FREE by living life without fear.
How often fear rises to speak about chiropractic care? I found that I was frightened in the beginning to speak about adjustment. Later the more I spoke, I found that more people are looking for TRUTH, HEALTH, VITALITY, FREEDOM than those who wants to deceive you (by the way, deceiver are always be around). I focus on those who are seeking the truth, people like you.
Creating WAVES in life it is only way to experience true, authentic life. Without those WAVES disciples would never experience power of God, would never believe, would never be free. I will speak for myself as a Christian, I believe that by following Jesus and creating some WAVES, FREEING PEOPLE from FEAR and allowing Jesus to be in control of those WAVES that’s how we can change the world and live happy and healthy lives.
I don’t know how big those WAVES need to be, but I know HE DOES! I have a choice, HE HAS CONTROL! I am glad in it, because I don’t know the future, HE KNOWS!
So “Do not be afraid!” telling the truth and fighting for yourself. By doing this, you may change or even safe someone’s life. WAVES are good, surf on them! Because :
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13
